Bob: The vid casts are great – keep them coming. I love the Polaroid Pogo and I might have to get one for my trip to India in the summer.
Thanks for the info.

I have been going through withdrawl since your last blog. Really enjoyed the video. How did you shoot it? I just read 1999 Best American Mystery Stories and one was by Gary Krist. Any relation?

Hi Mike: Yup, attsa my brudder, Gary (http://www.amazon.com/Gary-Krist/e/B000APQDSS/ref=ntt_dp_epwbk_1). Excellent wordsmith and all around good guy. We have collaborated on a lot of projects over the years. I used a tripod mounted Sanyo video cam to record the video…I plan on writing about it as soon as I really figure out how to do it correctly! Thank you so much, Bob. Your blog is my all time favorite, and this blog about electricity made me realize that I could fry my new computer on a trip later this month to Corsica. Magellan to the rescue, and it was a great conversation piece at dinner last night (and my husband paid for the order, too!)You may be a lifesaver.
Will you still be in Greensboro in July, since your dance card is filling up with other things?

Hi Cindy: Your computer charger is dual voltage, so you’re good on that. The only hassle could have been if you used a 120V powerstrip to charge a bunch of stuff, and even then, you’d probably just melt the powerstrip. But you’re good now with the dual voltage model. Alas, Greensboro is one of the seminars I’ve had to cancel. The good news is that Bill Fortney, a great shooter and teacher, is my replacement. So you’re actually doing better! cheers, Bob

Bob…great stuff. Long time since we last chatted. You should post these in Flash…Check out the Ultra HD cam too from Flip, another great small video camera.
