Nice little video, Bob – simply explained, and a great reference point for anyone looking to get up early and make the most of these fantastic photo opportunities.
Incidentally, I welcome anyone to take advantage of my experience, and to ask questions/post comments/get involved with debates on my blog, also: http://gilesbabbidge.blogspot.com/
Hi Carolyn: Thanks for the kind words. Hope you are well. I was plugging your book during a Q&A after my presentation at the New England Conference of Camera Clubs convention (whew, that’s a mouthful!) last weekend! cheers, Bob
Chuck: Next is Pharmacologist Bob, where I dispense medical marijuana and anti-depressants to editorial photographers….it’s a growth industry! Hope you’re well. cheers, Bob
John: That should work. Don’t know what the problem is. I’d try to update to the latest version of QT (if that isn’t it) and try again. I’m guessing you’re on a PC, so it could be a myriad of reasons. Sorry for the inconvenience! Bob
Excellent video Bob. I don’t believe I’ve seen such an effective cogent explanation of such an important topic, at least for landscape shooters.
I was in your Maine Travel Photography class last year. Looks like you had another great experience this year, though sans quite so much rain. You’re a gifted teacher. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Bob, I can’t view it either and I did download the latest QT version. As you know, I use a PC, so guess that must be the issue. Is this your way of nudging us PC users toward the dark side?
Not much fog here in Houston when I photograph my clients, but I have a dream of taking a couple to The Golden Gate Bridge for a portrait. And when I am able to make this trip happen, I will make sure we are in our spots way before sunrise to catch any fog that might be there.

“Meteorologist Bob.” Next comes “Astrologist Bob.” Then there’s “Phycologist Bob.” We photographers need ‘em all!

I can’t watch your movies. I have quicktime 7.6.9. Is that to old? It seems to start, but I don’t see anything
I would love to!

John: If you have Quicktime, it should work. I don’t know why some PCs, even with Quicktime, lock up on this.
